and she will have a live report in just a few minutes. police in concord are looking for a man who clipped a police uisewho approached a man suspected of urinating in public. he jumped into the car and police do not believe it was intentional and they described the car as possibly a honda accord. police are looking into whether alcohol was a factor in a deadly hit-and-run crash. friends and family are leaving candles and flowers and police say they were all victims who were ejected when a driver smashed into the car. the force was so great it cut the mustang in half. they were also looking into

alcohol and toxicology reports are pending but we believe alcohol was associated. the driver of the mustang fled the scene but later turned him into police. the fire is threatening homes and forcing evacuations. the 1200-acre fire is burning 1,500 miles north of santa barbara. mostly campers were forced to leave the area and it is only 50% contained and threatening several homes in the area. they do say air attacks will resume this morning. in san rafael, a horse was rescued from a 30-foot well after being trapped for hours.

of a tornado. this video was shot by storm chasers, winds were up to 175 miles per hour. that was strong enough to rip instruments off the top of the vehicle. the storm chasers were not hurt. they had a possible 16 tornadoes in the midwest. caltrans is expected to up date the metropolitan transportation commission tomorrow about the integrity of more than 2300 steel rods used to build the new span. there are concerns that the bolts may be faulty but officials say it is too week to withstand a powerful earthquake. >> you want to have people traveling on a bridge you know is unsafe in the event of a major earthquake while you replace bolts on a bridge that have not broken. >> it is the 24th of the

been shot and they are all at fso general and we understand they found a black man in his 40s suffering from a gunshot wound to his leg. several were transported and behind me police are still combing through the scene which is sort of graphic and we have some flashlights and we understand the gun has actually been recovered at another scene. we understand three suspects are in custody and their car was chased and it ended up crashing near cameron and near the double rock housing development. there begun was tossed out and it was a glock pistol with an extended magazine which means a regular police gun will have extended rounds but others will

river where a vallejo teen likely drowned. they found the body at the water's edge at sandy beach yesterday. they searched for calvin knight but so far they have not confirmed it was his body. witnesses say he was playing with friends when he suddenly went under. >> the other boy was yelling for help and he said quit playing around, he was bobbing under the water and he went down and didn't come back up. >> they are warning people to avoid swimming there because of sudden currents and drop offs. they were out looking for drivers under the influence. 100,000 people were arrested for dui yesterday and that's down slightly from 106 5,000 since from last year. and they made a dozen in santa clara santa clara and at least
